I have a bit of news for the blog:
My story "Your Place in the World" is included in the latest issue of
Midwestern Gothic, along with work by a couple of other SIUC folks.
My essay "On Helplessness" was recently published in Fifth Wednesday Journal.
And: My chapbook, Phantoms, previously sold out, was recently
re-released by Origami Zoo Press as an e-book for the Kindle.
I just received the news that The Dead Mule School of Southern
Literature will publish my poems "World Wide Web," "Exploring the
Boundaries of Comfort," and "Kentucky Woman" in March 2012.

MFA program, and this Saturday at 5:30 PM at the Indi Go Artist Co-Op
in downtown Champaign, SIUC MFA's Josh Bontrager, Jenny Flack, Austin
Kodra, Shawn Mitchell, and Nick Ostdick will read their work, rock the
